  34.      In August, in Montreal, the fourth annual Amiga Convention 
  35. will take place!  This convention will gather the Amiga community
  36. together from all across the world to show its support for the 
  37. Amiga!  We hope to make this show an event in the long fight to 
  38. make the Amiga a well known computer in North America again.

  46. WHY:  We are putting on the Amiga Convention '96 (AC 96) to 
  47.       support our favorite computer, the Amiga!  We feel that
  48.       for too long, the Amiga has been ignored, and now that 
  49.       the Amiga is owned by people who actually will support 
  50.       it well, we want to help them out in any way we can.  
  51.       We also want to get a lot of people together to have a 
  52.       really cool time!

  55.        over 1,000 people, not including the surrounding rooms.

  103. COST FOR RENTING TABLES : $150 - 1 day,  $250 - 2 days, for 
  104.                           one table of 6' by 3' and chairs.
  105.                           These tables are aimed towards 
  106.               dealers and developers.

  109. FREE TABLES:  We will also have free tables at AC'96, for 
  110.               anyone who wishes to BRING THEIR AMIGA, whether
  111.               to show off something cool, or just to help 
  112.               someone else who might need one at the time.
  113.               However, at the free tables you get less space
  114.               than the pay tables, it is first-come first-
  115.               serve, and you cannot sell products at the 
  116.               tables!  That is strictly for the rented tables.

  119. ACCESABILITY:  The show is easily accesable by bus and subway,
  120.                as well as having lots of parking space in the
  121.                vicinity for cars.

  124. WHY DEALERS SHOULD COME:  At AC'96, we offer tables at an 
  125.                           incredibly rate, a price which
  126.                           includes electrical outlets and
  127.               electricity. You also get the 
  128.               chance to show and sell your
  129.                           wares to a crowd of Amiga owners,
  130.               all of whom have money to spend 
  131.               and are influenced by how big a
  132.               prescence you have at the show.

  134. WHY PEOPLE SHOULD COME:   AC'96 will have stands from many 
  135.                           major dealers and developers. It will
  136.                           also have a lot of friendly Amiga 
  137.                           owners there, plus a booming sound
  138.                           system and TV setup that will show 
  139.                           crazy demos and products. It will be 
  140.                           a wild good time for all!
